This intimate workshop gives an introduction to artist Camilla Brendon's project Tiny Ocean Plants (which explores Phytoplankton and their important role in mitigating climate change and maintaining the sustainability of our planet). Camilla Brendon and her team will introduce Tiny Ocean Plants to workshop participants, with video and literature to support.
The experience is in a cozy and laid back setting, tea and light refreshments will be served whilst participants make sketches inspired by phytoplankton. They will then go on to transform these drawings into recycled collage art-works, which will be made ready to hang.
Participants will try their hand at making a non-toxic cleaner which can be used in bathroom and kitchen settings, it will be ready to take home at the end of the session along with their artwork.
This rejuvenating afternoon event is hosted by Kindred Studios, where Camilla Brendon is a member and includes calls to action around how we can work to protect Tiny Ocean Plants. This experience is suitable for ages 11+ and under 16's should be accompanied by an adult.
Why not give this experience as the perfect sustainable gift this festive season?
