You are warmly invited to F_able navigates: Another Space, Another Time !! The event, which takes place on Sunday 24th November between 5pm and 7pm, is a map-led art walk navigating Roman Road, exploring eight newly commissioned performances and art installations that activate fictitious spaces imagined during the course of the project.

F_able is working in collaboration with locals in Bow, east London, along with spoken word poets, musicians, visual and performance artists, schools and civic organisations to generate ideas to transform the abandoned or under-used spaces, both public and private, on and around Roman Road, without imposing the proposed changes in real life. The project reimagines the potential for common space free from the customary barriers imposed by organisations, systems and government, using the Common Room, a community space on Roman Road, as its inspiration and partner.

We will be meeting at The Common Room, situated at the corner of Roman Road and St Stephen’s Road (at the back of the carpark, behind the bike stand). Nearest underground stations: Bethnal Green or Mile End. Drop by to get one of our maps and have a chat, and grab a drink with us before exploring Roman Road ;)
